In one of the threads someone says that it might be a problem of the wrong version of the rescue disk, so I went ahead and downloaded the windows 10 installation disk and made sure in regedit that it is indeed the same version, but the result is the same.
One note is that when I boot using the installation drive my windows partition is automatically assigned the drive letter c: while the installation disk itself is assigned the letter X:. Okay, so I finally got it to work Did this solve your problem?

After the Apple logo appears, it might take longer than usual to reach the login screen or your desktop. This is because your Mac performs a directory check of your startup disk as part of safe mode. If neither of those work, find another Mac, connect it to your Mac with Firewire or Thunderbolt cable.spormateamtie.ml
